A small boat blog with a mish-mosh of life thrown in!
There is in fact a special place in Hell for people taking a craft designed to explore the rivers of the world, cutting it in half, calling it furniture, and putting knickknacks on it.....I usually take special pleasure pointing out what it would be worth if they didn't cut it in half and add shelving.
I tend to agree. What would be the punishment in that part of Hell anyway?I think it was either Jerry Stemok or Rollin Thurlow who claimed that they could rebuild any canoe if a rib survived. I think that is a bit of an exaggeration, but pretty close.I must say that I took some particular pleasure in seeing PLASTIC canoes - probably purpose made that were used as shelving in Eddie Bauer stores in the '90's.
